Hi everyone!!! Sorry I haven’t blogged in awhile!! Well, it’s been a pretty exciting fall for us!! The kids have been showing a lot… Ky had the Grand Steer at the Tulsa State Fair and brought $35,000 in the sale of champions. That was the tailgate to his showing career. We’ve been blessed with that! Cool thing. We got a traveling trophy that we keep for a year, and it dates back to 1949! Kyra had the Reserve Suffolk. At KC we took 2 lambs and got 1st and 3rd…Kyra also was Reserve Intermediate Showman. Congratulations to Brock May and his Grand Steer!
Dave Allan, Dave Guyer and myself conducted a showmanship demo and that was fun working with these guys. I’m headed to Florida for a clinic this weekend. We are not going to NAILE this year, instead Kyra is running at a barrel race at the south point casino NFR week in Las Vegas. She made the finals at the world show in OKC and that is tomorrow. Ky likes the judging team at college and he finally got his cast off the week after Tulsa. We have been getting plenty of rain and that’s a good thing. Better go… Hope to see some of you at Columbia City, IN Thanksgiving weekend with Mike Witte and crew!!!
