My first Blog comes after spending this past weekend in California with Ryan and Stacey Watje. The two of them andfellow sheep ambassador Mark Johnson were giving me a hard time for the lack of posting a Blog. I told them all I would make a point to do a better job of using the blog. This past year was very personally challenging and I have not had a lot of spare time. However, the good Lord has blessed me with great friends and family and life is good once again.
I had a wonderful time in California. What a pig sale the Watje family had! It was a job well done with a great set of pigs. We held a clinic with the sale that went over very well. It’s always a great time when I get to visit with folks about Honor Show Chow Feed and fitting of show pigs. It was also nice to spend some fun time at the Watje palace watching the COLTS game with some wonderful people.
Here on the Farm at Kilmer Swine we are very busy with this farrowing season, several litters are on the ground with many more to go. Stay in touch with us as our first sale is on-line March 18. We will be offering December barrows and gilts.
Stay tuned for more Kilmer Swine updates and to see what’s going on with the Bennington kids.
