Sitting in the airport in Indy. Headed home from doing a clinic in Terre Haute over the weekend. Gotta pic up some Super Lick tubs at the Purina Dealer before I head home. Had a terrible time getting here with
weather delays, but it all worked out and had a really good clinic.
Thanks to Denise Garriott and to Sinnamon Show Supply for bringing the supply trailer. We have been doing this clinic 9 years, and I wanted to thank Mike Hamilton’s family, as they have attended 5 of them!
There was a big show dog event going on this weekend also (1400 entries)?…… A lot of grooming going on with both events!!!! Ha! HSC Mike Witte was there also. Thanks Mike!
We are finishing some fence on a pretty rough pasture this week. Glad to get that done. Ky is headed to Donors Unlimited sale this weekend, Kyra has BBR finals (barrel racing) @ the OKC fairgrounds. Also, I am headed to Ohio to do a clinic. Looks like we are going in all directions. Have a good week!!

Hi everyone, hope you had a great Easter!!!! Just got back from Orangeville, Ontario Canada which is 60 miles from Toronto. I did a demo on Friday for RK SHOW SUPPLY and judged the Youth Forum Show on Saturday. It was a good show with a lot of quality. You never get tired of looking at the good ones!!
I flew home on Easter and Kyra was running barrels at the OK State NBHA finals in Shawnee, which is 30 miles from the OKC airport. I went there and got to watch her run. She had four horses and ended up 6th in the average out of about 350 runs.
I judged and did some demos a week ago in Brandon, Manitoba and met a couple that had a tack booth. It was funny because I saw them again in Shawnnee yesterday. They decided to come to Oklahoma to get away, and it was funny that I ran into them. Small world, huh??
We are still selling calves for next year and calving also. We finally got a rain and we’re thankful for that because of all the wildfires that have been going lately!!
I’ll leave you with some trivia…our ag teacher, Jay Muret, sent us an article from the 1948 OYE, and the Grand Steer weighed 950 lbs and brought $2.66/lb or $2500. Think about that…that was a lot back then!! Have some fun and have a good week!!

At the county fair this week with the kids, cattle and sheep. Taking cattle off wheat. We are really dry. Going to Kansas to work with Mike Weber at Chisholm Trail in Kansas this weekend. Hope to see everyone there. Thanks and have a good week!
